Sea Delivery

BR Marine Service, Sea delivery service is cost effective and reliable for yachts up to 24 meters. We will take the utmost care in the delivery of your vessel. From your initial contact with us through to the final report, we are on hand 7 days a week to guide you through the delivery process.

Our team of skippers is meticulous to detail and will take every step to ensure your boat arrives in the best of condition. Each delivery team consists of a Skipper, Mate and Deck Hand. The skipper is very experienced with many thousands of miles under their belt. The Mate is a budding sailor with usually 2- 3 years’ experience. The Deck Hand position is filled with newly qualified Day Skippers & Yacht Masters looking for sea miles.

How it works.

•Initial contact from owner leads to research of vessel by BR Marine Delivery and quotation is offered.

•Skipper and Crew (including at least two qualified Yacht Masters) confirmed for passage.

•Liaison between BR Marine Delivery and the owner to confirm boat is ready for sea, and if not what steps need to be taken.

•The weather window is confirmed.

•The skipper and crew arrive at the vessel. Full inventory is performed (where possible) including check of safety equipment that includes flares, life raft, spare navigation equipment / VHFs on board, correct charts, radar reflectors etc.

•Skipper, crew and vessel depart and make best possible passage keeping a detailed and regularly updated log.

•Vessel arrives at the specified destination. A thorough valet of vessel (all surfaces inside cleaned and polished, head linings cleaned, windows polished, deck and top-sides washed, stainless steel polished, etc.).

•Skipper and crew depart vessel.

•Full report of vessels condition and systems delivered to the owner, assessment of the boats condition and any recommendations from the skipper.
